ACCELERATED TESTING OF CONCRETE AT CONSTRUCTION SITES
ACCELERERAD BETONGPROVNING PAA BYGGNADSPLATS
At the construction site of the nuclear power station at Ringhals, Sweden, accelerated tests are conducted as an important phase of current concrete quality control. The accelerated tests are carried out in order to determine the compressive strength of 15-cm cubes after curing in water for 24 hours at a temperature of 80 degrees centigrade. The results presented in this paper show that it should be possible to base the quality requirements for final approval of the concrete on accelerated tests. /TRRL/
