COMMUNICATIONS
This article summarizes the annual meeting of the Land Mobile Communications Council, held in Washington, D.C., April 1992. Explains new FCC authority to levy fines for non-broadcast and non-common carrier violations. The FCC has also announced that Section 5301 of the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988 has taken effect and become part of the application process for all new license applications except amateur radio. This article includes a listing of all known IMSA members who are licensed amateur operators.
