A LOOK AT WHAT SOME STATES ARE DOING ... TEXAS ANTI-DWI MESSAGE GAINS RECOGNITION
The successful Texas Anti-DWI program launched in 1989 and which continues to gain momentum is described. The program is aimed at increasing the public awareness of injuries, fatalities, lost productivity, property loss and economic costs associated with drunk driving. In addition to signs, billboards, other public information and education materials have proven very successful with the public and law enforcement officials.
