ENGINEERS SOLVING PROBLEMS
Experience with a time sharing computer, TENET, which services about seventy terminals in a statewide network is described. The computer was used in hydrology studies. Answers to hydrograph problems were available in 5 minutes or less. Surveying and hydraulics programs and analytical programs to support research are possible. It is also possible for creators of new systems to announce their intent to develop a system, to report on its progress and to release a complete system for statewide use. The programming work of personnel and consultants are outlined.
