THE SURGEON GENERAL'S WORKSHOP ON DRUNK DRIVING--TWO YEARS LATER. INTRODUCTION

This introduction to Session 2 of the Drugged and Drunk Driving presentations at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in Washington, D.C., in January 1991, comments briefly on the controversial and historic Workshop on Drunk Driving which was convened by Surgeon General C. Everett Koop in December 1988.
