THE LEMON LAW: (DON'T WAIT UNTIL YOU NEED IT TO READ IT!)
The purpose of "lemon" laws is to give new car buyers legal rights if their car turns out to be a dud. Although these statutes are commonplace, many consumers are not aware of the specifics. This article provides some facts on "lemon" laws, such as what they cover, the time period during which they are applicable, and what the requirements are for a vehicle to be considered a "lemon". Also discussed are the buyer's rights if the vehicle won't be replaced.
