FRACTURE MECHANICS IN LOW-CYCLE LOADING AND IN THE PRESENCE OF HIGH STRAIN GRADIENT
The fracture criterion for variable low-cycle loading was developed based on the concept of cumulative damage. The study of fracture stability in high strain gradient field is based on the argument that couple-stress becomes significant in such fields. Analytical solutions were initiated leading toward the general solution. (Author)
