U.S. CONGRESS FUNDS IVHS AT $659 MILLION OVER SIX YEARS
After numerous legislative ups and downs, U.S. House and Senate agree on a six-year IVHS funding plan. The Bush Administration endorses the package. However, a discrepancy exists between the new authorizing figure for FY92 and the previously passed appropriations -- one is $140 million and the other $94 million.
