1990 CLEAN AIR ACT AND THE TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING PROFESSION
Prepared for an ITE Educational Foundation seminar, this notebook provides timely information on the 1990 Clean Air Act and how it will affect the transportation engineering profession. The notebook provides overview and legislative history of Clean Air Act amendments, and information on conformity requiremnts. It discusses how to integrate air quality planning with the metropolitan transportation plannng process, and describes how the California Clean Air Act of 1988 impacted transportation decisionmaking.
