IMPLEMENTING RESEARCH RESULTS IV
The author summarizes briefly the papers presented in this night driving symposium, commenting on possible further applications of research techniques and findings. Methods of implementation put forth are development of suggested design procedures and warranting conditions, and of a procedure for assigning priorities based on an economic utility model. If, after testing over a limited geographic area, the procedures are shown to work well, a formal standard can be adopted.
