PLASTICS PIPEWORK (THERMOPLASTICS MATERIAL). PART 3. POLYETHYLENE PIPES FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF LIQUIDS UNDER PRESSURE
Part 3 of the code gives guidance on the proper application and installation of polyethylene pipe for the conveyance of liquids under pressure. It does not recommend the use of polyethylene pipe for any particular purpose. The code deals with the following: classification of polyethylenes; working pressure and effects of temperature; flow properties; jointing procedures; metal fittings; plastics fittings; thermofusion welding; bending, including both hot and cold bending; storage, handling and transport, and inspection. /TRRL/
