QUURM- A REALISTIC URBAN RUNOFF MODEL
QUURM, a mathematical model which simulates urban storm runoff for any given rainfall pattern, is described. A realistic and design oriented model QUURM employs the n-linear reservoir model to generate inlet hydrographs from the rainfall excess for each area type for each subcatchment. These inlet hydrographs are combined and routed through the sewer system using a modified time offset or progressive-average-lag method. The model has been applied successfully to an urban catchment in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. /Author/
