CONSIDERATIONS SUR LE CHOIX D'UN EXPLOSIF

A study is made of the choice of explosives for the blasting of galleries and the exploitation of open quarries. Details are given of the characteristics of the most commonly used explosives, tests on various types of explosive for rocks and test results, selection of explosives taking account of rock drilling costs, and difference between theoretical and practical data on explosives. This article is a translation of an article published in the Bulletino Dell' Associazione Mineraria Subalpina. /TRRL/
