IMPROVEMENT IN THE QUALITY OF CRYSTALLIZED SLAG
AMELIORATION DE LA QUALITE DU LAITIER CRISTALLISE
Results are presented of tests in which 1% fine mill metal flakes were added to slag and poured in thin layers. By this method, it seems possible to obtain crused slag with the following characteristics: wet Deval higher than 7,0, Los Angeles higher than 18, 0. Under certain favourable conditions, Los Angeles can exceed 16,00 for 10/14 aggregates. /TRRL/
