SAND EQUIVALENT OF WATERBOUND MACADAM
ZANDEQUIVALENT VAN EEN STEESLAGFUNDERING
This article deals with the sand equivalent of water-bound macadam, distinguishing between the types of macadam (continuous or gap grading) and the nature of fines (smaller than 74 mm). It is tentatively proposed to use this test as a control method for the homogeneity of the materials supplied rather than an acceptance test method. /TRRL/
