SOME ESTHETIC CONSIDERATIONS IN STEEL DESIGN
Structural esthetics is defined and its attributes or indicators as formulated by Vitruvius almost 2,000 years ago are found still valid. A set of 10 general principles underlying or justifying the critical judgments on esthetics of steel structures is proposed.
