SKEW SLAB BRIDGES WITH INTEGRAL SLAB ABUTMENTS. VOLUME II: DESIGN CURVES. FINAL REPORT
The purpose of this study was to develop a simplified design method for Skew Slab Bridges with Integral Slab Abutments (SSBISA) and to use this method for the analysis of the Smith bridge in Chester, Maine. The proposed design method gives coefficients which convert the moments, shears, and deflections obtained from a plane frame analysis to those that would be obtained from a 3-dimensional finite element analysis of the bridge. This document, Volume II of six volumes, contains the design curves to be used in conjunction with Volume I.
