PREDICTION OF TRAFFIC AND PARKING LOAD FOR A TEACHING HOSPITAL SITE
Two surveys of the travel pattern and parking demands of all grades of staff to the site of the Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre in Birmingham were carried out in 1966 and 1973-74. Using the data from the first survey in a logarithmic-type expansion, future car ownership levels were estimated. These were compared with the data from the second survey, showing variations in the case of separate strata of staff, but acceptable agreement for the overall population. /Author/ /TRRL/
