SUPERPLASTICIZERS AND THEIR USE IN CEMENT COMPOSITES

SUPERPLASTIFIKATORI I PRIMJENA NA CEMENTNIM KOMPOZITIMA

The article describes basic types of chemical substances used in concrete technology as superplasticizers as well as the mechanism of their action. It briefly reviews the effects achieved in fresh and hardened concrete composite by the use of superplasticizers. It also presents a survey on standards and criteria for the evaluation of the quality of superplasticizers.
