RESULTS OF FOUNDATION ENGINEERING CONGRESS PILE LOADING TEST. DISCUSSION
This is a discussion of a paper of the above title by R.J. Finno, T. Cosmao and B. Gitskin published in ASCE Geotechnical Special Publication No. 23 (1989). Discusser Fellenius makes comments regarding the difficulty in directly comparing a predicted pile behavior with the actual observations when only having access to data plotted in a small scale. Comments are also made with regard to the accuracy of the strain data. The discussion is followed by a closure by the author Finno.
