DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING OF ELECTRICAL 'LEICHTMOFAS'/'MOFAS'
ENTWICKLUNG UND ERPROBUNG ELEKTRISCH BETRIEBENER LEICHTMOFAS/MOFAS
The environmental noise and air pollution, caused by the individual traffic in the town centers, is extremely high. As an alternative to motorized bicycles with combustion engines, two- or three-wheeled vehicles powered by electromotors are designed, constructed and evaluated in their behaviour in this project. They have an appropriate motorization and adequate driving range and are easy to handle. All components are motor, gear, batteries, control, charging device, and chassis have been extensively optimised using the newest technologies. These electric vehicles are a feasible choice for the local traffic and in view of comparable vehicles driven by combustion engines they can be preferably accepted by users, who are conscious of environmental problems.
