GLOBAL DESIGN EXPLOITATION-INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT
GLOBAAL ONTWERP EXPLOITATIE-INFORMATIESYSTEEM VOOR HET OPENBAAR VERVOER
Vehicle electronics are used more and more in public transport. Many vehicles are equipped or will be equipped with electronics to collect and to store data. The collection and storage of data alone is not sufficient, the data should be processed into useable information. However the question is which information can be and should be available with the aid of vehicle electronics and on which way the collected data can be processed into information. This study tries to answer the question. The result of it is a global design for an exploitation-information system that can provide the information that is wanted.
