TRAFFIC SIGNAL WARRANTS-A BIBLIOGRAPHY

This annotated bibliography of relevant literature was compiled in an effort to evaluate the adequacy of existing warrants in meeting current needs for determining whether a traffic signal should be installed, and to determine the need for revised or additional warrants. The literature reviewed in the preparation of the bibliography was restricted to material published since 1967 and the references are restricted to those pertaining to traffic signal warrants for isolated intersections. The bibliography consists of 2 parts: the first covers the general subject area and contains 152 entries; The second, containing 29 entries, includes supplementary material on accident occurrence and costs.
