THE MILTON KEYNES EXPERIENCE WITH SMARTCARDS IN THE UK. 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AUTOMATIC FARE COLLECTION IN PT

The experience in Milton Keynes of introducing a passenger Smartcard system on local buses to provide accountability to the local concessionary and other multi-operator ticketing systems in the area is studied. The Smartcard ticketing system adopted is produced by AES and marketed under the name of Datafare 2000.
