TANGENTIAL STRESS DISTRIBUTION IN TURBULENT BOUNDARY LAYERS AT AN ADVERSE PRESSURE GRADIENT
An approximate solution is presented of the problem of tangential stress distribution in turbulent boundary layers with adverse pressure gradients. It is shown that higher-order derivatives should not be incorporated in determining the law of tangential stresses. Comparison with experimental data points to satisfactory accuracy of the method in separationless flow.
