CORRIDOR "M" (U.S. ROUTE 22) ECONOMIC IMPACT STUDY AND PLAN, HUNTINGDON COUNTY. FINAL REPORT
This study focuses upon the manner in which the long awaited relocation and reconstruction of a major section of U.S. Route 22, together with existing U.S. Route 22, impacts upon the land and economy of Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. The technical aspects of the study were accomplished through a cooperative effort of the Huntingdon County Planning Commission, the Southern Alleghenies Commission, and its Planning Consultant, Richard C. Sutter & Associates, Inc. The purpose of the study was to identify the anticipated economic impacts of Corridor "M" (U.S. Route 22) and provide the basic tool to enable local municipal, County, and Regional agencies to prepare programs and plans to obtain the maximum economic, social, and physical benefits from transportation investments made or to be made in the project area.
