POLICE ENFORCEMENT AND SURVEILLANCE TECHNIQUES: SURVEY AMONG POLICE OFFICERS IN IRELAND, THE NETHERLANDS, NORWAY AND SPAIN
A survey among police officers in Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands and Norway show that the most commonly used technique is traffic observation with a marked police car in all countries. Otherwise there are many differences in experience and opinions on enforcement techniques between the police officers groups in the four countries.
