CARRIERS, SUPPLIERS PUSH "CLEAN CAB"
Union Pacific, Burlington Northern and CSXT are pushing for the "clean cab" (removing some of the instruments found in the cab) concept whereby a central computer would link the cab and operations management for improved performance and maintenance, improved engine productivity and a better and wider field of view for the engineer.
