USE OF MICROCOMPUTERS TO PERFORM AIRPORT EMISSION INVENTORIES
A method using microcomputer spreadsheets for easy, conservative estimate of emissions from an airport is described. The method, with appropriate customizing, may be applied to any airport. The method is an effective means of conducting airport emission inventories to allow selection of the best alternative, to check effects of changes such as growth or geometric changes in runways, and optimize the airport planning process for reducing air pollutant emissions.
