ANALYZING CONSTRUCTION TRUCK COSTS
Municipalities use many different truck types in different ways and under varied conditions. Of concern to those responsible for these trucks is the question of when to repair and when to replace these trucks. This article analyzes ownership and operating costs, provides some unofficial rules of thumb when rebuilding, and points out how to tell when the "turning point" for a given truck has been reached where it costs less to trade it on a new truck than to keep it.
