ACI MANUAL OF CONCRETE PRACTICE 1990. PART 2. CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES AND INSPECTION PAVEMENTS. QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEMS FOR CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION
This paper gives guidance for the development of a quality assurance system for both large and small concrete construction projects. The system involves the identification of quality objectives and their incorporation into a quality assurance plan which is implemented by project organizations through quality assurance programs. The system, as herein defined, is intended to permit the user latitude in judgement with respect to the owner's needs, the defined quality goals, the importance of the project, the project size and complexity, and the skills of the involved project organizations.
