TRACKLESS TROLLEY TRANSITWAY. BOSTON'S INNOVATIVE SOLLUTION FOR RAPID TRANSIT SERVICE
Boston is embarking upon a bus tunnel which will serve the Pier area and is expected to reach a daily trip total of over 90,000 in the near future. It is called the "Trackless Trolley Transitway, and will consist of articulated trolley buses which travel underground connecting downtown with the midtown cultural area. Planning is still underway with regard to station location and routes, Funding will be sought from the private sector as businesses should profit from the transitway.
