OCCUPATIONAL LOYALTIES AMONG TRUCK DRIVERS
The article examines selected characteristics of truck drivers and their stated occupational intentions. An assessmnt is also made of the probable severity over time of driver shortage. The article will assist carriers in identifying exit-prone and exit-resistant current driver and new entrant profiles, and in developing strategies to deal with each group.
