CATASTROPHE FIRE CONTROL
A description of a gas turbine powered fire fighting apparatus, specifically designed for combating fires on offshore platforms, is presented. The unit is self-sufficient, portable, can feed up to 8,000 tons of water per hour through four water cannons, and it has the capability to be remotely controlled. The description of the unit includes its dimensions and capacities, and criteria which were followed in developing the package are also discussed.
