THE INFLUENCE OF THE TEMPERATURE AND TRANSPORT OF MIXTURES ON THE LAYING OF ASPHALTIC CONCRETE
INVLOED VAN DE TEMPERATUUR EN VAN HET VERVOER VAN DE MENGSELS OP DE UITVOERING VAN KOOLWATERSTOFBETONS
Details are given of the specifications governing the temperature and transport of mixtures designed for the building of flexible pavements. Mixing, laying and compaction temperatures must be adequate? this implies a good coordination between transport and laying. The length of permissible transport time is not so much cinditioned by risks of cooling, but more by risks of segregation during transport? the factors affecting segregation are listed. ;TRRL;
