The study results are presented in the following chapters: (I) Executive Summary; (II) Planning Issues--the benefits to corridor preservation initiatives of a strong link between systems planning and project development; (III) Environmental Aspects of Project Development in Corridor Preservation; (IV) Techniques to Preserve Rights of Way Within Corridors for Future Transportation Use; (V) Funding Issues Associated with Corridor Preservation; (VI) Summary of State Statutes/Regulations Relating to Corridor Preservation; (VII) Corridor Preservation Experiences and Case Studies; (VIII) Survey of States - Corridor Preservation Problems and Procedures; and (IX) Task Force Recommendations. There are two appendices.
