ELECTRONIC CALCULATION OF PLANE STRUCTURES BY MEANS OF THE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD
EL CALCULO ELECTRONICO DE ESTRUCTURAS PLANAS POR EL METODO DE LOS ELEMENTOS FINITOS
The massachussetts institute of technology has programmed the finite element method under the name of strudl. In order to obtain satisfactory results, it is necessary to have A large number of data, which can lead to some problems. This article describes the programs used in the preparation of the data for solving plane structures. These programs are for general use: definition of coordinates and incidences, selection of the right types of members, and determination of loads. /TRRL/
