VERTICAL PATCHING MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
The purpose of this research was to test a variety of patching materials and develop specifications for vertical patching material to be used on concrete structures. The patching materials evaluated in this study were not intended for use on structural surfaces subjected to traffic wear. Out of the 20 proprietary products submitted for testing, only 3 showed potential as a vertical and overhead patching material. They are: Burke Acrylic Patch, Renderoc HB and Sikatop 123. Included in this report are descriptions of the evaluation procedure, the physical tests and the chemical tests, test results, recommendations, and tentative specifications.
