SURFACE CHARACTERISTICS OF AGGREGATES AND ADHESION TO CATIONIC EMULSIONS
LAS CARACTERISTICAS SUPERFICIALES DE LOS AGREGADOS Y LA ADHERENCIA CON EMULSIONES CATIONICAS
Two laboratory methods are presented of measuring two important surface characteristics of aggregates: dust adhering to the surface of the aggregate and surface reaction. The first method uses the measurement of sedimentation obtained by a given technique to determine the quantity of dust adhering to the aggregate. Surface reaction is measured by applying a filter paper impregnated with A solution indicating an acid-base balance. Both methods are described in detail. The number of the covering abstract of the annual meeting is irrd abstract no. 100988. /TRRL/
