STRATEGIC MOBILITY PLAN...IDENTIFYING TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS, 1990-2009
This report presents the Strategic Mobility Plan (SMP) of the Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transportation for 1990 through 2009. Following an introduction, the contents are presented in the following chapters: (1) The Highway System; (2) Multimodal Transportation; (3) Administration and Support; (4) Transportation-Related Services; and (5) Summation. Fiscal requirements for the years 1990-2009 in this SMP are $82.6 billion, in constant 1988 dollars. The distribution by major areas is as follows: (1) Highway System - 94.7%; (2) Multimodal Transportation - 1.0%; (3) Administration and Support - 2.3%; and (4) Transportation-Related Services - 2.0%.
