The construction of bituminous surfacings requires three types of safety measures: measures relating to the material used, to the plant, and to the equipment. Practical recommendations are proposed for the safety of different operations: transport, sampling, cleaning and maintenance of the equipment, operation of plants, etc. /TRRL/
