ORIGIN-DESTINATION STUDY OF THE BAHIA BLANCA TRANSIT TRAFFIC

CENSO DE ORIGEN Y DESTINO DE TRANSITO DE BAHIA BLANCA

The author describes the planning and conduct of a survey, conducted on 16th November, 1967, of vehicles entering and leaving the town of Bahia Blaca. There were 8 control points, which formed a cordon around the town. The results of the survey concern the total traffic volume, traffic composition, peak hour traffic, hourly variation, degree of occupancy of vehicles, data on the origin and destination of journeys, especially data on traffic generated by the harbour, etc. The number of the covering abstract is IRRD Abstract No. 100834. /TRRL/
