STRENGTH, DEFORMABILITY AND CREEP OF CONCRETE IN TENSION FOLLOWED BY TORSION
PROCHNOST, DEFORMATIVNOST I POLZUCHEST BETONA PRI RASTYAZHENII S POSLEDUYUSHCHIM KRUCHENIEM
Micro concrete pipes, 20,4 cm in external diameter, with 2 cm-thick walls and 80 cm long were subjected to tests. Test results showed that tensile stress results in a decrease in torsional strength and in an increase in deformations, whether the loads be dynamic or static. /TRRL/
