THE PHILIPS ALL-PURPOSE TRAFFIC PROCESSOR SYSTEM
The rapid advances in electronic technology during the past few years have provided the opportunity to design and manufacture a range of road traffic controllers, based on A rugged micro processor, suitable for road-side use. Software-oriented equipment enables various traffic control techniques to be applied and grants the traffic engineer greater freedom of choice in the location of system hardware and functions than has hitherto been possible.
