APPARATUS FOR TESTING CONCRETE UNDER MULTIAXIAL STATES OF STRESS
The paper describes the equipment and techniques for applying multiaxial stress states to specimens of concrete, and accurately measuring the deformation at small and large strains. Particular attention is given to inducing uniform and definable states of stress, together with ease and accuracy of control during the various loading regimes. Details of the construction of the apparatus and principles of operation are given. /TRRL/
