RUBBER BEARING DEVICES FOR STRUCTURES. THEORETICAL STUDY AND EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS
APPAREILS D'APPUI EN CAOUTCHOUC POUR LES CONSTRUCTIONS-ETUDE THEORIQUE ET RESULTATS EXPERIMENTAUX
After a brief outline of the theoretical formulae on which are based the regulations for rubber bearings, a detailed study is made of the formulae used in Italian specifications. Results of tests on 176 bearings are given and analyzed. This analysis enables the theoretical bases already adopted to be more closely defined and supplies some useful data to the committee from the Italian National Research Centre, whose task is to study this problem. /TRRL/
