THE REAGENT: HEAT

This article describes the thermal methods utilized to characterize polymers. The methods include differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimery, and thermochemical analysis. Using these methods, the effects of various reactions, as well as the effects of additives and structural modifications can be studied on research-size samples.
