IOTRON'S DIGIPLOT AUTOMATICALLY TRACKS AND PLOTS UP TO 40 TARGETS
This article describes a fully automatic computer-based radar plotter for collision avoidance. This system acquires the closest 200 small echoes and continuously analyzes them to select, track and plot the 40 most threatening targets. The operation of this system is explained, and the scope and facilities of the unit are described. Among other facilities, this radar has the capability to predict and display the consequences of trial collision avoidance maneuvers.
