PAVEMENT CLASSIFICATION FOR CIVIL AND MILITARY AIRCRAFT VOLUME 1 - 1971
This publication supersedes the Aircraft Load Classification Data Loose-Leaf Manual issued for Civil Aircraft (Volume 1 - 1968) and Military Aircraft (Volume 2 - 1966) by MPBW. The revisions made in this publication arise from the introduction of the classification of aerodromes into load classification groups. The aircraft falling into the aero- drome groups LCG I to LCG VI are listed. The dimensions, wheel arrangement and under carriage details of each aircraft, and its function are given. Tables show the weights, masses and tyre pressures permitted for landing and take-off of aircraft and the unladen condition. Aircraft are classified under the headings (1) equivalent single wheel load (2) load classification number of the aircraft (3) load classification group of the pavement. Each aircraft is considered on a separate page, and an alphabetical list of all the aircraft is included. /TRRL/
