THE DETERMINATION OF THE TRANSFORMING CAPACITY OF TRACTION SUBSTATIONS
OPREDELENIE TRANSFORMATORNOI MOSHCHNOSTI TIAGOVYKH PODSTANSTII
The transformer capacity of traction substations can be correctly defined only by examining the traction load as a random function of time and taking into consideration characteristics of flow of train traffic in a period of long interruption in operations stipulated by the fulfillment of track repair work during the time of the "window" and following it. In addition it must be calculated in a manner such that the intensity relative to the wear and tear of the winding insulation during the calculation period composes 0.9. With a view to ensuring the accidental overloads the output value relative to the wear and tear is taken to be equal to 0.9 and not 1.
